Soliciting

The solicitor must be on the list of the Certified Solicitors for the City of Chesapeake.

City of Chesapeake states: "If a solicitor approaches your residence you may ask him/her to show you their identification card (permit). If you suspect the person is soliciting without a permit, doing something inappropriate (i.e. cursing, being rude, refusing to accept no, being overly aggressive with their sales technique) or acting suspiciously, you may contact the Police Department's Dispatch Center at 757-382-6161 or by dialing 911 if it is an emergency."
